We are open for business. Attorney's services are on the list of Essential Businesses in Ohio. But like everyone else, our operations have changed.
- Generally someone will be in the office during regular business hours and will be answering the phones. Our system does not permit putting calls through to us. Your message will be passed to the appropriate person.
- If no one answers, please leave a message on the answering machine as you ordinarily would.
- If the front door is locked, please knock. Hard! Give us a minute or two to get to the door – we might be on the phone at the time you knock.
- The attorneys are generally working remotely. The best way to reach us is by email. We will respond either by email or a voice call as workflow permits.
- The attorneys will be coming in for scheduled appointments. In addition to in person meetings, we offer meetings by video conference or telephone.
- For in person meetings, we keep appropriate distances as mandated by Paragraph 15 of the Stay At Home Order.
- We also follow the sanitization protocol as as set forth in Paragraph 15 of the Stay At Home Order.
Estate Planning
We have had a number of clients who, in light of the current situation, want to update their estate planning documents. We are happy to do the initial meeting by video conference, telephone, or in person as you wish. When it comes to signing the final documents, an in-person meeting is important so we can be certain that the documents are properly executed. If you are unable or unwilling to come in, we may be able to work out alternate arrangements.
Businesses
If you need help determining if you are an Essential Business under the Ohio’s Stay at Home Order, we can help you with the analysis. For those business that are essential, we have been providing letters with our analysis for the use of the business and for employees traveling to and from work.
Stay healthy. Keep your distance and wash your hands!
